Using Access Codes
What are access codes?
Access codes give you control over who can access your certificates while keeping the process simple and self-service for your recipients. Using access codes ensures that only recipients with a valid code can download their certificate.
How to use codes
When customising your certificate template in GoCertificates, you can choose to use either a single access code for all recipients or multiple codes, with a unique code for each individual.
1. Single code
A single code works for all recipients, making it easy to distribute at an event, by email, via a conference app or any other convenient method. This option is the simplest choice if you don’t need to track individual access.
2. Multiple codes
Choosing to use multiple codes allows you to assign a unique access code to each recipient. This option is ideal if you want to provide personalised codes or control access on an individual basis. You specify the codes and upload them in bulk via a CSV file during template customisation. Once uploaded, you share each code individually with its recipient via a secure communication method.
How they work
You provide recipients with their access code and a link to their certificate download form. They enter the code along with their personal details to download their certificate.
